All teachers are DBS checked to an enhanced standard, hold a valid first aid certificate, public liability insurance , ISTD teaching qualifications and a diploma in professional Musical Theatre/Dance.

Does your child love to dance? We offer classes from ages 4-16 in a range of styles. Performers will be offered a fun relaxed environment to improve confidence and learn a new skill!
Focusing on singing, acting and movement our Musical Theatre classes aim to make our performers triple threats in all three styles. Learn songs from all your favorite musicals such as Matilda, Newsies and Shrek to name a few!
Street Dance @ Chesterton
Only available to pupils at Chesterton primary school. Sign-up sheets are available at the school reception.

Born in Cambridgeshire Sophie started honing her craft from the early age of three and studied all forms of dance locally until deciding to pursue the performing arts as a career at sixteen.
She secured a place at the famous London based performing arts school Italia Conti for a year`s intensive course and later went on to gain her full Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre at the prestigious Urdang Academy. After graduating in 2010 Sophie worked on a number of Cabaret and Musical based shows travelling throughout Europe.
Her credits include performances at the Wimbledon theater, the London Palladium and Finsbury Town Hall . Various cruise ships with Royal Caribbean international as a dance teacher , instructor and presenter including the `Oasis Of The Seas` the largest cruise ship in the world. Most recently she was part of the team to launch their newest ship`The Quantum of The Seas`that sailed out of New York. Sophie has choreographed local Singer Tamara's first music video 'One way ticket'. TV credits include: 'Kerrching' CBBC, 'Mile High' Sky TV and Green screen work for 'Live Business Productions'. Sophie also holds a teaching qualification with I.S.T.D at associate level with distinction. Sophie teaches with passion,energy and excitement and is always striving to pass on her enthusiasm for the performing arts to each and every student .
Katy graduated from the Cambridge Performing Arts Academy at Bodyworks dance company in 2003. Having gained a Trinity diploma in Professional Dance. Katy enjoyed Cabaret contracts in Spain and Tenerife before travelling the globe as Dance Captain on the MV Cruise ships Braemar and Boudicca before returning to work in the UK. Katy continues to enjoy a successful career in Dance, television and film.
Her numerous dance credits include performances with Artistes such as One Direction, DJ Ironic, Lemar, Alexandra Burke, Beverly Knight, Jessie J and Calvin Harris. Recent performances include Glastonbury Festival, Stephen K Amos Comedy Tour, Take That Tribute Tour, Levi Roots Reggae Reggae tour, and Beyoncé at the O2. You Cannot be Serious with Alistair McGowan, MTV flash prank series, and Britain's next top model credits. Other TV work includes Mr. Stink, Miranda fitness DVD, Eastenders, Holby City, Mr. Selfridge, Glue, and Endeavour.
Katy has also worked on several films including World War Z, Red 2, Burke and Hare. Alan Partridge Alpha Papa, and several Bollywood productions. Adverts include McDonald's, Fitness First, T Mobile, Visit Britain and Sony Ericsson.
Ellie was born and raised in Burwell, at 18 years old she has completed her A-levels at Hills Road and is currently studying Education at University, with the long term goal to become a teacher.
She has always had a strong passion for dance, taking part in dance classes from the age of three. She has covered a wide variety of genres including ballet and point work, jazz, rap, modern and contemporary.
She also studied performing arts at Bottisham Village College where she took part in many musical performances and mentored younger pupils. Ellie is keen to learn and gain more dance experience, while striving to help others achieve.
Sinead trained at Southern Theatre Arts Centre, where she gained a foundation degree in Musical Theatre. During her time at STAC, she performed the lead role of Ivy in ‘Bare: A Pop Opera’ and Mimi in ‘Rent!’. Sinead also performed twice as a principal dancer at the dance convention ‘Move It’ at Earl’s Court Olympia. Sinead then furthered her dance training at Tiffany Theatre College, where she was awarded a Scholarship and place on the One Year Advanced course.
After graduating, Sinead starred in a brand new West End musical called ‘Burlesque’, in which she played the role of ‘Georgia’ alongside many well known theatre performers. The show won an award for Best New Musical, and is now in further development.
She then went on to star in various Pantomimes and Summer Seasons before taking part in the UK tour of Pop Factor the concert. For the past three years Sinead has been working for Americas biggest cruise ship company- Carnival Cruise Lines as a Soloist and dancer, travelling from America to the Mexican Riveria and Caribbean Islands. She passion has always been with musical theatre and she cannot wait to pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm to the future performers of tomorrow.
